Star Wars Jedi: Survivor – A Mini Review Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is an incredible game—and this is coming from someone who knows next to nothing about Star Wars. Seriously, I can barely name two characters, but somehow, that didn’t stop me from getting totally hooked. For those who haven’t played this game, or its predecessor Jedi: Fallen Order, you're missing out. And the best part? You don’t need to be a Star Wars aficionado or have seen 35 movies to dive in and enjoy it.

While Star Wars: Outlaws is the shiny new open-world adventure on the block, if you're more into linear, story-driven experiences, Jedi: Survivor is where it’s at. Don’t get me wrong, if you love roaming around vast worlds and doing whatever you want (*cough* typical Ubisoft), Outlaws might be your jam. But for me, Jedi: Survivor shines because it’s tight, focused, and delivers an epic narrative without drowning you in side quests. You get to be a Jedi, wield a lightsaber, and explore some stunning planets—all while enjoying a cinematic, character-driven story.

The combat is a real highlight. You can switch between different fighting stances, double-wield lightsabers, or go all-out with Force powers. It offers a little bit of everything, and the platforming? Definitely inspired by games like Uncharted and Tomb Raider, making it a joy to navigate the world. If you’re on Xbox, both Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi: Survivor are available on Game Pass, so you can jump in for free.

Even if you’re not a Star Wars fan, you might be surprised by how much fun this game is. Have you played any of the Jedi games? Let me know your thoughts in the comments, and until next time, stay golden.
